MSgt Henry Sanborn was my first true mentor at the 224th JCSS. He took a personal interest in my welfare during the days following Sept 11, 2001. Henry was my team leader and mentor as we deployed to Qatar and then Afghanistan in the opening days of Operation Enduring Freedom. Henry was very supportive during those days as I was dealing with a divorce while deployed to a hostile environment. Henry was instrumental in making sure that I was ok during this time. I did not realize how much he helped me during those days until now as I reflect back on the many drills, Annual Training periods and deployments that we shared. May God speed you to your rest Henry. Very Respectfully and with all sincerity, Clint Gregory.

Henry served in the 224th ANG with my late husband Bill Ehrhardt who thought very highly of him. Henry came to visit us at our home here in Kingsland. He also came to Kingsland last year for the 4th annual Bill Ehrhardt ride which meant a great deal to me. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
